This is the place where you will always be able to be in touch with former classmates and teachers. You can tell everyone about your university studies and later career advancements, family life and future M.A.S. students in the form of your own children. A special welcome to the members of the Class of 2009 who will graduate in June.  Visit the site often to keep up on the latest news, and ask your friends and siblings to sign up.

There's a new album with 1037 photos that were scanned from the Modern American School repository. It's a mixed collection of photos from several generations. La comunidad de alumnos y exalumnos así como todo el personal académico de la Escuela Moderna Americana se unen a la pena que embarga a la familia y amigos de Miss María Luisa debido a su sensible fallecimiento el 30 de octubre de 2008. Sus restos serán velados hoy en la Funeraria Gayosso de Felix Cuevas. 

Miss María Luisa García Cardelle fue sin lugar a duda uno de los pilares de la Escuela Moderna Americana, donde trabajó durante 52 años, últimamente ocupando el cargo de Directora de Español del Departamento de Primaria.

Descanse en paz.

Joanne Hillefeld, teacher of English at M.A.S. for 25 years, will retire and move to the United States with her husband Reinhard after the close of the 2008-2009 school year.  Joanne's children, Erika and Reinhard, have been living in the U.S.A. since right after their high school days, and now with grandchildren in Connecticut, Joanne is eager to be closer to her family.
